PawPass is a tool clubs use to run their own doors. The club sets the rules for its parties; PawPass only records and verifies passes. Don't share your pass, don't make fake accounts, and be decent to the person scanning.
1. Eligibility
You need a princeton.edu or alumni.princeton.edu email to create an account. You must be the person that address belongs to. One account per person.
2. Your pass
- A pass is issued to you by a club or by a member of that club. It is tied to your account and your photo and cannot be transferred, sold or forwarded.
- A pass admits you once unless the party allows re-entry. The club can revoke a pass at any time.
- Holding a pass does not guarantee entry; the club's door staff make the final call.
3. Acceptable use
- No attempts to forge, copy or replay passes, or to interfere with scanners.
- No harassment, impersonation or misuse of other people's information from the app.
- Officers may only upload rosters for clubs they are authorised to represent.
4. Clubs and officers
Clubs own their roster and guest data. Officers are responsible for who they grant officer and door access to, and for the accuracy of rosters they upload. PawPass provides exports and an audit log; it does not adjudicate club policy.
5. Availability
We aim to be up every party night and publish a paper-fallback export for when we are not. The service is provided as-is; to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for missed entries or indirect damages.
6. Ending things
You can delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. A club can stop using PawPass at any time and receive its data.
7. Not affiliated
PawPass is not affiliated with Princeton University or any eating club. "Princeton" and club names are used descriptively. Club crests appear only with the club's permission.
